Endrick seeks minutes away from the Bernabéu
The promising career of Endrick at Real Madrid could take a temporary detour in January 2027. Rumours of a potential loan for the Brazilian attacker have intensified, driven by the alarming scarcity of minutes he has had at the start of the 2026/2027 season. With just four minutes played in LaLiga, the 20-year-old finds himself at a crossroads that could lead him to seek new opportunities outside the Spanish capital.

Since his arrival at the 'White House' in July 2024, Endrick has faced fierce competition in attack, with names like Kylian Mbappé, Vinícius Júnior, Yan Diomande, and Rodrygo Goes occupying key positions. Although manager José Mourinho reportedly assured him of an important role during the summer of 2026, the reality on the pitch has been different, with the Brazilian relegated to the bench in most matches.

This is not the first time Endrick has faced such a situation. During the second half of the 2025/2026 season, Real Madrid opted to loan him to Olympique Lyon, an experience that proved highly beneficial for his development. In France, Endrick shone with eight goals and eight assists in 21 appearances, even earning him a call-up to the Brazilian national team for the 2026 World Cup. This precedent shows that a loan spell can be the ideal formula for the young talent to gain the necessary continuity.
Given the current landscape, several European clubs have shown strong interest in securing his services in January. From Italy, Roma and AC Milan are emerging as the main candidates. In fact, it has been reported that AC Milan would be Endrick's preferred destination if he ultimately leaves Real Madrid temporarily. The good relationship between his representatives, Roc Nation, and Milan's ownership group, RedBird Capital Partners, could play a decisive role in this operation.
LaLiga also exploring options
In addition to the Italian clubs, LaLiga teams have also explored the possibility of signing Endrick. Real Sociedad, Villarreal, and Real Betis already showed interest during the past summer transfer window, although those inquiries did not materialise. Likewise, Aston Villa from the Premier League is also among the interested parties.
Real Madrid, for its part, considers Endrick a long-term investment and does not contemplate a sale. Any move in January would be a loan, maintaining control over the sporting future of the promising forward. The final decision will largely depend on the opportunities Mourinho offers him in the coming weeks. If the lack of minutes persists, a temporary departure will become an increasingly concrete option to ensure his progression and prevent the stagnation of one of the world's great footballing prospects.
